Fun flamenco for beginners and an excellent technique builder for those who have already begun to embrace flamenco as dance, as healing, as self-expression, as a way of life! This class builds a foundation, appropriate for new beginners. Focus on techniques specific to flamenco such as compás, braceo or arm movement, footwork, floreo or hand movement, and palmas, along with universal dance techniques in working correctly, body line and posture, and interpretation. Have fun building strength, stamina, and technique! Our clear and systematic approach allows you to develop your self-expression as you progress in your understanding of the art.
