Flamenco Montana's Vision
Founded in 1997 as Patio Andaluz, Flamenco Montana exists not only to share our personal love of Spanish dance arts, but also to preserve them authentically. In 2010 Flamenco was designated as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. To receive this honor, an art must be traditional, contemporary and living as well as in danger of deterioration, disappearance, or destruction. In addition, it must be handed down from generation to generation and shared beyond the community of its origin.
Through performances, presentations, classes and workshops we work to share and preserve this ancient and venerable art.
